PROGRAM GUIDE:
CHILDREN'S PROGRAM: The following 2 programs will be conducted separately and parallel with the above main program in either basement or outside until 12:15PM. After that all children will participate the main program. We have divided this program in 2 age groups based on the most of the parents interest. If any child has brother/sister/best friend in different age group than he/she belongs, please feel free to switch the age group with your parents' advice because we will do special care by most of the mothers of small children in group1. 1. Programs for Children under 5 years: Pratigya Bastola and Komal Dutta will lead this program and they will decide how to make this one and half hour time by entertaining/teaching children a. Drawing of God's pictures and exhibitions - Coordinated by Pratigya Bastola b. Program about God - introduce some pictures of different Gods - Coordinated by Komal Dutta Note : Komal and Pratigya will select volunteers from Shreya, Shradha, Samiksha, Vipassyana, Sneha, etc will decide outdoor/indoor activities by themselves, and they will bring all the children to the main program after 12:15PM. Suggested Activities : Nepali Videos ( arriving from DC), story telling, paintings, bubbles, flash cards 2. Programs for Children above 5 years: Sutapa Adhikari, Biswa Phuyal and Dibya Phuyal will lead this program and they will choose volunteers and games/items with coordination of Kiran Adhikary. They will be responsible to bring all the children to the main program after 12:15PM. Suggested volunteers: Aseem, Shreya, Shradha, Samiksha, Vipassyana, Sneha, Ankit, Paras, Kunj, Niraj, Nisha, Sudin, Shriya Suggested Activities: Musical Chair - coordinated by Komal Pokharel Adhikari and Sharita Khadka Outside playing balls, running and jumping Nepali Game kabadi Videos from National Geographic about religion, culture, and other information that is interesting to children, etc.
