Mar 7th 2009 – Update on Help Bhutanese Refugee – Computer Drive
On Mar 7th 2009, Ankur Sharma, Prabhakant Das, Sangita and Prasanna Subedi visited few Bhutanese Families in Aurora, IL , to distribute few computers, tv and vcr. We setup the computers and provided some basic training on how to protect pc against virus, etc.. The recipients were very delighted and grateful to receive these items from us. Parallelly, Bishnu Dai is also helping some of the bhutanese to get their driver’s license. We would also like to thank the following ppl for donating these computers and helping build it.

I would also like to request any or all nepalese residing in or around chicagoland area, to send an email to peopleofnepal@gmail.com , if you would like to donate any computer parts, monitor, keyboard, ram, cpu, mouse etc.
I am so glad that I am part of it, and nothing is more precious than a smile on their face.
