Nice People
People are nice in many different ways. If you do things you enjoy and don’t hurt anybody then you are essentially a nice person. If you keep looking for the positives in any given situation and don’t take any action for greed or personal gain, you are a nice person.
Others may not like what you do and they may think you are not a nice person but you just have to take it easy and move on.
When we think of nice people we see a person who is pleasant, inviting, sweet, helpful, approachable, understanding, and reliable. You are a nice person when you appreciate what you have and respect others. Most of the time, you have to offer help, money, or time to become a nice person. List goes on and on.
I am busy chasing my own needs and do not have time to be a nice person. I hear that a lot. When you have feelings for others and you know you are a nice person even though you can’t offer any thing, you are still nice. If you are working hard to run your business and you don’t worry about the world; then that is your personality and it is the real you and nice you. You can’t be nice to others if your own needs aren’t being met. Take time to do things that you enjoy. The better you feel, the better you’ll treat other people and you will eventually become a nice person.
How one can become a nice person? Here are some tips for everybody. Acknowledge a person’s presence and smile with eye contact. Listen to the other person’s point of view. It is just as important as yours. Don’t bring up unrelated issues that happened last year to start a fight. Treat others with the care the way you want to be treated. Put yourself in another person’s position. Treat every body fairly.
Sometimes you have to compromise your own interest for the good of the family or others. This is the best solution. Especially for a newly wed couple, if you learn to compromise you win. On the other hand, some people try to take advantage of nice people in our society. For example, one of your friends asks you for a hundred dollars. He forgets to pay you back but this time he asks you for two hundred dollars. This is just because you are so nice. So before that happens to you, stand up for your beliefs while supporting others. Understanding others and thinking outside the box of your own world will always help you become a nice person.
